Workshops are one of the most fun activities within the Nashville Bonsai Society, and the best way to advance your skills, and your collection of trees. Workshops are hands-on teaching and working sessions, led by an expert Bonsai artist, often from out-of-state. The workshops are typically either one half day or one full day in length, and are usually held at one of the members' homes. Often times a workshop will be focused on one species of tree, or one bonsai technique. Usually you bring one or more trees from your collection at home to work on, but some workshops provide all attendees with a tree. Typically there are 6 to 10 attendees at a workshop, and you must register through this website in advance for one of those spots (go to the events page.) The fee can be paid online at the time that you register. We do allow a limited number of people to audit a workshop, watching and learning, but not participating. Workshops are well worth the investment of time and money!
